Llama and Alpaca wool knit products

Spring Valley Farms carries a variety of hand spun llama and alpaca wool and knit products. Alpacas and llamas produce exquisitely soft, fine fleece without secreting lanolin, wax or oils. Therefore, it does not go through an extensive scouring process (like wool) to prepare it for use. Alpaca and llama fiber can be used virtually straight off the animal with a minimal amount of processing.
