Seaview Game Farm is a slice of oceanfront paradise in Miracle Beach (between Courtenay and Campbell River) on the gorgeous East coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Seaview is a working farm and operates the largest fallow deer farm on Vancouver Island complete with an On-site Farmers Market shop selling venison (deer meat), venison products, vegetables and fruit. Seaview Farm is also a Vancouver Island vacation destination with farm tours and holiday accommodation including Yurts (yes, yurts!) and a fully furnished suite for rent.
Fresh Food - Good for the land and good for you!
Seaview grows and processes all the venison meat and venison products (venison jerky, venison Mennonite sausage, venison pepperoni and more) for sale in their On-site Farmers Market Shop. In addition to their own fresh venison they also sell fresh fruits from their orchard (just imagine the flavour of sun ripened fruit kissed lightly by the Pacific salt spray) and fresh vegetables grown in their greenhouses and ½ acre outdoor veggie patch.
Seaview Farm's Farmers Market has partnered with other local Vancouver Island businesses to offer a wider selection of products for sale at the market. Try our selection of hand blended condiments with your next West coast meal, wrap yourself in an alpaca shawl and anoint your body with skin care products containing soothing, healing emu oil. Yurts For Rent -
Vancouver Island Lodgings with a difference. Yurts are big, comfy round tents that originated in Central Asia (Mongolia) and were originally made out of felted wool. The word Yurt means "dwelling place" and we invite you to stay in one of our yurts (just a few meters from the beach and the ocean) and allow yourself to be lulled to sleep by the lapping of the waves on the shore.
Suite For Rent -
Comfortable vacation lodgings with all the amenities. We offer a fully furnished 2 bedroom suite for rent by the day or the week. Come, make yourself comfortable and stay awhile.
Tour the Farm -
We offer regular farm tours throughout the summer (and by appointment at other times) and we invite you and your family or group to join us to see the whole farm. We'll hook the tractor up to the cart and we'll all have a grand old time!
Petting Zoo -
There are always baby animals around the farm, and some grown up ones that love to be petted too. Get a handful of feed and expect to be loved by the bunch of friendly, fuzzy critters in our petting zoo.Beachcombing, Hiking and More -
There are many great activities to enjoy at Seaview Farm! Go beachcombing for seaside treasures or walk our kilometer of waterfront with the spectacular view of the West coast of British Columbia and the Coast Mountains.
